Larry Quay passed away on July 10th. His dedication to this Club and the Shelby marque will be dearly missed.
There are no services but a memorial car show in his honor is being planned for February, his birthday month! More details as they are solidified but click here for a link to the tentative flyer!

Larry Quay and I go back decades. He was President of OC COCOA which was one of the first car club meetings I went to. We spoke and saw each other at meetings, events and shows and I would tease him of the easy job he had teaching, but my brother was a press photographer so I knew better. I loved his smile and uplifting presence. Being out to club and show activity, I didn’t know of his illness….I wish his family my sadden condolences. I will think of him when remember my club activity….bob shaw
